The Arts Factory is a mixed-use arts facility located in a transformed warehouse at 281 Industrial Avenue. This cultural hub includes 21,000 square feet of workshops, studios, offices and common spaces.
The Arts Factory houses studios for a mix of emerging and established artists. We also offer short and long-term office spaces for Vancouver's cultural community.
Our building also has an event space suitable for exhibitions, openings, artist talks, readings or social events. This space is a long hallway/corridor with high ceilings and white walls. We have benches to accommodate ~35-40 seats, but the space is more suitable for standing room events. This event space is fully accessible and has access to a kitchen and washrooms.

If you're looking for a space to hold an evening or weekend event, we have a mixed-use event/exhibition space available for rentals. The capacity varies between 100-150 people (standing room) or 35-40 (available seating) depending on the type of event.

The rates listed include $25/hour for a staff person (NOT tech staff, just venue supervisor).
This space is suitable for readings, artist talks, openings and exhibitions.

|Rental Policy||Renters are required to pay for an Arts Factory staff to supervise the venue ($25/hours) - this amount is already included in the rates. The minimum rental is 4 hours. You must include set-up and take down time in the hours that you request. Renters are required to pay a non-refundable $50 fee in order to book. This will be deducted from your final invoice.|
|Cancellation Policy||If you cancel less than 48 hours before the event, you will be charged for the venue manager fee ($25 per hour of your booking). The $50 booking fee is non-refundable.|
